Reach is a two-year discipleship initiative that started in March of 2022. We set out with two primary goals, 100% engagement and to raise $4.3M toward the purchase and renovation of a long-term home for Citylight Church. When we started Reach, we did not know where our long-term home would be. By God’s grace, in December 2022 we were able to close on our new long-term home. As we approach the midpoint of Reach, we are encouraging everyone who considers Citylight home to make a new one year commitment, finish their commitment strong, or increase their commitment.
As we began to look to our next ten years, we find ourselves in an exciting and critical moment in the life of our church. Our lease at Mishkan Shalom Synagogue is concluding and we needed to secure a long-term facility that could be used to produce lasting fruit for God’s glory for years to come. By God’s grace we were able to acquire a facility and soon will begin needed renovations. Even though we now own a wonderful facility at the midway point, Reach has always been a two-year initiative aimed at helping us grow deep roots and lasting fruit to see greater gospel-impact. As we approach the midpoint of Reach, we are encouraging everyone who considers Citylight home to take one of three steps: make a new one year commitment, finish strong on your two year commitment, or increase your commitment.
